Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy pairs the medical use of ketamine with depth psychotherapy. The medicine opens a window. The psychotherapy is what allows that window to translate into lasting change.

When KAP is a good fit

Treatment-resistant depression that has not responded to traditional therapy or medication alone

Complex PTSD and stuck trauma patterns

Severe anxiety and existential distress

Long-standing relational or attachment patterns that talk therapy has illuminated but not shifted

Clients who want a structured, psychotherapeutic frame around their ketamine work

How I work

I am the psychotherapist, not the prescriber. I collaborate with licensed psychiatrists who handle the medical assessment, prescribing, and administration. My role is to hold the psychotherapy across the full arc of care.

  • Careful preparation: clarifying intentions, mapping the nervous system, and addressing protective parts

  • In-session presence: psychotherapeutic support during the medicine experience itself

  • Integration: structured sessions afterward to translate insights into daily life

  • Coordination with your psychiatrist and any other providers on your team

The first step

What to expect

We start with a free 30-minute consultation. From there we talk about whether KAP is a fit, what the arc of care could look like, and how I work with the prescribing psychiatrist on your case.

Ready to begin?

The first conversation is a free 30-minute consultation. We talk about what brought you here and whether this is the right fit, with zero pressure to commit.
